"Do It Right"
Why should I do a Healthy Ketogenic Diet?
The Basics of Insulin Resistance
Your body makes a hormone called insulin. Insulin tells the tissues to take in available sugars in the bloodstream. After eating a meal that contains carbohydrates, your pancreas will release this insulin hormone. An unhealthy diet, a high-carbohydrate diet, stress, or even a genetic predisposition can cause you to have to make a lot of insulin. This is because you become resistant to it. Your tissues stop listening to the insulin and in response your pancreas releases more insulin. This can lead to high blood sugar and in some cases cause Type-2 Diabetes.
One of the biggest health issues in our country right now is insulin resistance. It's affecting millions of Americans and it's likely that you have some degree of insulin resistance.
If done properly, a Healthy Nutritional Ketogenic program turns up fat-burning metabolism. It forces your body to burn ketones (basically little fat molecules) for fuel. It takes some time for this to take full effect and it's so important that you do it correctly to do it in a healthy way.
Reducing your insulin resistance, improving your blood sugar, losing weight, and eating more nutritious foods can greatly improve your health and quality of life. But there are so many ways to do this program incorrectly. We strongly urge you to be under the guidance of a trained professional. This is why we have created NJ Keto...to help you "Do It Right".
