Questions about Cold Laser
What is Neuropathy & Pain Cold Laser Treatment?
We invested in the number one Class IV cold laser available for medical professionals. It's a super-pulsed laser called the Lumix Q. There are only about ten of these lasers in the United States. Cold Laser is a non-invasive, painless treatment that uses laser light to stimulate cellular healing, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation. It is commonly used for pain relief and tissue repair. The laser light delivers a specific wavelength of light to the injured or damaged tissues, which stimulates the body's natural healing processes at the cellular level.
What Conditions Are Treated?
This treatment is great for pain and inflammation associated with conditions like neuropathy, plantar fasciitis, joint pain, chronic pain, tendonitis, or sports injuries. Since our cold laser is top of the line, it can penetrate deeper into the muscles and fascia. We've had incredible results. Feel free to text us if you're curious if we can help you.
How does it work?
Light Penetration: The laser emits light energy that penetrates deep into tissues, reaching muscles, nerves, and joints without damaging the skin.
Cellular Stimulation: The laser energy is absorbed by mitochondria (the "powerhouses" of cells), which then produce more adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—the energy cells need to repair and regenerate.
Increased Blood Flow & Oxygenation: Laser therapy improves circulation, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to reach damaged tissues. This speeds up the healing process and reduces inflammation.
Pain Reduction: The laser helps block pain signals from nerves, reduces swelling, and triggers the release of endorphins (the body’s natural painkillers).
Tissue & Nerve Regeneration: By accelerating cell repair and reducing inflammation, cold laser therapy can help regenerate nerves, repair soft tissue injuries, and restore mobility.
Does the treatment hurt?
No, cold laser therapy is painless. Most patients experience a soothing warmth in the treated area. Some may feel a mild tingling as circulation improves. Class IV cold laser therapy is FDA-approved and has been widely studied for its safety and effectiveness. It is a non-invasive, drug-free treatment with minimal risks and no known side effects.
How long does a treatment session take?
Each session typically lasts about 5 to 7 minutes, depending on the condition being treated and the severity of symptoms.
What should I expect?
We ask that you wear loose fitting clothing, especially around the area that will be treated. When you arrive for your treatment session, we will evaluate you and determine where exactly we will administer the laser beam and what different settings we will use for the laser. You will be provided protective eyewear to shield your eyes from any possible laser light. Then, you can relax while the doctor performs the treatment. You may feel some warmth from the laser during treatment. The doctor will advise you that if you begin to feel heat to let them know. The risk of being burned from the laser is extremely low.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies based on your condition. Most patients experience noticeable improvement after just one treatment. The amount of inflammation in the tissue as well as your lifestyle affects how many sessions might be necessary. Some patients just need a few sessions. Some may come several. And some patients, when nothing else has ever helped them, continue to treat under maintenance. Everyone is different and after an assessment in person, we can give you an honest estimate of what to expect. We're not here to sell you an unnecessary plan. If we fix you in one session, then that's great. We're here to help people and we thrive off of word-of-mouth referrals. So you don't need to worry about any sales pitches from us.
Questions about Lumbar Decompression
What is Lumbar Spinal Decompression?
Lumbar spinal decompression is a non-surgical therapy designed to relieve pressure on the lower back. It gently stretches the spine, creating negative pressure within the discs, which can help reposition bulging or herniated discs, reduce nerve compression, and promote healing.
What Conditions Are Treated?
Spinal decompression therapy is commonly used for conditions such as:
Herniated or bulging discs
Degenerative disc disease
Sciatica (nerve pain in the legs)
Spinal stenosis
Chronic lower back pain
Facet joint syndrome
Pinched nerves
Failed back surgery syndrome
How does it work?
Spinal decompression therapy uses a computer-controlled traction table to gently stretch and release the spine in a controlled manner. This creates a negative pressure within the discs, which can:
✅ Relieve nerve compression by reducing disc bulging
✅ Improve blood flow and oxygenation to promote healing
✅ Stimulate the rehydration of discs, reducing pain and stiffness
✅ Reduce muscle tension and inflammation in the lower back
Does the treatment hurt?
No, spinal decompression is a gentle and painless procedure. Most patients experience a relaxing stretch in the lower back. Some may feel a mild pulling sensation, but it should never be painful. In fact, many people find it soothing and relaxing.
How long does a treatment session take?
Each session typically lasts 20 minutes.
What should I expect?
You’ll lie down on our decompression table.
A comfortable harness will be placed around your waist and secured to the table.
The table will gently stretch and release your spine in cycles for 20 minutes
You’ll remain relaxed throughout the process.
After the session, some patients feel immediate relief, while others experience gradual improvement over multiple visits. Rarely, patients can have some irritation of the discs after the first treatment. However, this is short-lasting and these patients continue to improve. We always do our best to make sure we apply the correct settings to give you the most effective and comfortable treatment possible
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies based on the severity of your condition. Most patients require 12 to 20 sessions over a period of 4 to 6 weeks for optimal results. We will give you an estimated treatment plan based on your specific needs.
