Advanced Treatment Services FAQ

Learn more about our advanced X-ray analysis, laser protocols, and decompression services.

The Advanced New Patient X-Ray Analysis is an upgraded evaluation option for both insurance and out-of-pocket patients who want a more detailed structural and biomechanical review.

This service uses on-site digital X-rays along with Gonstead-style analysis, flexion views, lateral flexion views, and dynamic spinal analysis to better evaluate spinal mechanics, alignment patterns, motion restriction, instability indicators, and treatment strategy.

This option is designed for patients with chronic pain, recurring flare-ups, complex spinal history, prior injuries, postural distortion, or patients who want the most detailed chiropractic analysis available before beginning care.

The Plantar Fasciitis Laser Protocol uses Class IV laser therapy to target heel pain, arch pain, plantar fascia irritation, and inflammation around the bottom of the foot.

Class IV laser therapy is a non-invasive light-based treatment commonly used for musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. It works through photobiomodulation, where therapeutic light energy interacts with tissue to support cellular activity, circulation, and recovery.

This protocol may be appropriate for patients with chronic heel pain, morning foot pain, pain with standing or walking, or plantar fascia irritation that has not responded well to basic home care.

The Neuropathy Laser Protocol is designed for patients with symptoms such as numbness, tingling, burning, nerve discomfort, altered sensation, or nerve-related pain in the feet, legs, hands, or arms.

Class IV laser therapy is used to deliver therapeutic light energy into affected tissues. The goal is to support circulation, reduce local inflammation, and create a better healing environment around irritated nerves and surrounding soft tissue.

This protocol does not replace medical evaluation for neuropathy. Patients with diabetes, progressive weakness, balance loss, severe numbness, or worsening neurological symptoms should also be evaluated by the appropriate medical provider.

The Pain & Injury Laser Protocol is used for musculoskeletal pain, joint irritation, sprains, strains, tendon irritation, arthritis-related discomfort, sports injuries, and chronic soft tissue inflammation.

Class IV laser therapy is commonly used in rehabilitation and chiropractic settings for pain reduction and improved local tissue response. Treatment is non-invasive and does not involve medication, injections, or surgery.

This protocol may be used by itself or combined with chiropractic care, exercise recommendations, soft tissue work, or other conservative treatments depending on the condition.

Lumbar Disc Decompression is a non-surgical treatment option for select patients with lower back pain, disc-related pain, sciatica-type symptoms, degenerative disc problems, or chronic lumbar stiffness.

Decompression therapy is intended to gently reduce mechanical stress on the lower back and lumbar discs. It may be considered when symptoms suggest disc irritation, nerve irritation, or compression-related pain patterns.

Not every patient is a candidate. A proper examination is needed before beginning decompression, especially if there is severe pain, recent trauma, osteoporosis, cancer history, spinal surgery history, progressive weakness, or bowel/bladder symptoms.
